Summery:  Frankie Raye was not like the other girls he had dated

Frankie Raye was not like the other girls he had dated. First off, she wore cotton pajamas, most often one of his old high school t-shirts and a pair of boxers she must have swapped off of some old boyfriend. She wore little to no makeup when not at work and didn't seem to care if he saw her like that. She didn't wear dresses unless it was very formal and wore mixed matched socks. She could have a three hour long conversation with Reed Richards and enjoy it. She liked sitting Indian style on the couch, and eating pizza from a paper towel. She never included manicures on her weekly errand list.

She hated getting her picture taken, and usually hid behind him if he took her out somewhere. She never posed for the photographers or answered all their questions in the hopes she'd be seen by someone.

She liked Ben's omelets and Susan's pancakes. She hated his cooking and made sure to let him know.

She wasn't impressed by the fact he could control fire or by his fancy cars and bikes. She teased him constantly about his habit of saying "Flame On" when he...well, flamed on. She joked around about that picture from the tabloids for years till it turned into an inside joke amongst their friends.

She didn't let him control everything, or control everything herself. She liked the X-games and not the ballet. She knew names and stats and not because she wanted to impress him but because she actually had been watching. She'd roll her eyes when he'd do something stupid, and would smile when he did something that really did impress her.

She hated diamonds, bronze and gold. She liked silver, platinum and sapphires. She liked to collect key rings. She has her ears pierced twice, and a tattoo on her back where her uniform can hide it.

She liked to sleep on his shoulder after they’ve watched TV till it fell asleep itself. She had all the Final Fantasy games, code books and merchandise one could have. And used them. She had an obsession with Grey’s Anatomy and even tried to get Susan to name her daughter Bailey. She owned every episode of Farscape, and hated Friends.

She liked Ozzy Osborne and Nine Inch Nails, and hated Madonna. She had a hidden copy of Clay Aiken’s latest CD in her desk at work. She likes Hershey bars and always orders moose tracks when they went out to get ice cream.

She’s the first girl to really make him jealous without meaning to. She’s the first to make forever not seem so scary.

She’s the first person he said ‘I love you’ to, without them saying it first. She’s not the first person he’s meant it to, but she’s the only person he never stopped.
